Czech carmaker Skoda secured an exhibition area of more than 600 square meters at the world's largest gathering of Volkswagen Group enthusiasts at Lake Wörthersee in Austria to display a number of its models. Following the impressive Fabia RS Convertible Rally Car Concept at last year's Wörthersee festival, Skoda once again opted for a race-inspired study to spearhead its presentation. The Citigo Rally Car Concept turns the Volkswagen Up!-based mini into a pint-sized WRC fighter with a swollen body sporting all the usual bits and pieces you expect to find on a racing model such as the roof scoop, large rear wing and massive 18-inch wheels wrapped around in low profile tires. The three-door city car's interior was stripped down to the bone and fitted with a pair of body hugging bucket seats and a roll cage. Besides the Citigo Rally study, Skoda also showed the DJ Citigo Concept with a 100,000 Watt strong audio system, an accessorized version of the production Citigo and its Fabia rally racer.
